about
The second acoustic track from Albion.
lyrics
Do you remember as a child?
Hiding by a river running through the Vale of Neath,
So cold,
You sleep,
The forest dreams,
Alone in a hollow bank,
For three days,
When on the third you were visited,
Oh the children did come,
There to take you away to a kingdom,
Hidden under the wood there you run,
Follow a tunnel 'neath the river,
Follow them through earth and water,
Now you see...
A road leading ever on,
And into the hills beyond,
And into the home of the Green Man come,
To the home of the Green Man come,
To the home of the Green Man come,
To the home of the Green Man come.
Stay here a while and meet the king,
Befriend and play with his children,
Return above from time to time,
Just to visit his mother,
Tell her of the wealth,
Hoarded in that realm,
She asks that you bring her back something from this place,
To the Green Realm you come,
There's no turning back when the deed is done,
Now you're no friend to them,
Just a loyal son,
And now their world is sealed forever,
But as a man you still remember...
A road leading ever on...

Albion is an archaic name for Great Britain used by classical scholars to refer to this cold and wet island. Some 2000 years
later in 2019, four young whippersnappers dug up the ancient term to use as the name for their new band.
At the foundation of this project would be the preservation and exposure of traditional folk music, but presented through the modern medium of metal and rock....more
I bought the album on vinyl basically just to have the EP on physical format, I'll be honest.
This is not to say the album is bad (it is absolutely amazing) but the EP blew me away and is honestly one of the best and most versatile albums I've listened to in a while and the vocals are just insanely good.
If you like ExLibris you'll love this band too, no doubt thebluemeanie
I absolutely LOVE Dark Matter and think it is one of PT's best early tracks that holds up to even their best work in the early 2000s, and this particular live performance is sublime! kilimajaro
