Steven Konopa Wow! I mean, just WOW! This is some incredible display of talent and musicianship that I hear in this single 13-minute track! I would kill for an a complete, full-length album of this music of this quality. This was worth every penny of the two British Pounds or so that I've paid for this track. This is just absolutely incredible and by far one of my most favorite pieces of music as of late.

about

Albion's 14 minute song detailing the story of the medieval Welsh hero Owain Glyndŵr.

lyrics

Born of glen and the water Du,
Truest blood of the native kings that have been,
A century since our last leader fell,
His name a lie for you will answer to the call as well,

Leaving home in pursuit of law,
The seeds of justice sewn and a vision is born,
Lying dormant until provoked,
Reluctant for the sake of the life to be stilled,

Crown prince of this land,
Mab Darogan has come again,
Ruler of mountain and river,
Command the storms,
Raise the dragon banner to the sky,

Hyddgen,
Outnumbered,
Find a way to win,
Bryn Glas,
Again outnumbered,
Still undefeated,

As the dragon looks on,
All countrymen unite,
From home and afar,

Our land hides its chosen king,
Where the valleys are his shield,
Strike unseen from mountain and stream,
Loyal subjects with the storms that besiege his enemies,

Allies,
Grow in number,
All despise that usurper,

In Harlech Castle,
Planning their independence,
Democracy a dream seen in his eye,

As the dragon looks on,
The dragon looks on,

Ruling,
Crown prince,
Realising independence,

Legend immortal,
Inspiring forever,
Story unsuppressed,
Never betrayed in life or in death,

When will you return?
No end to speak of,
Fade into mystery,
Then live again in me,

No end to your tale,
Still watching from glen and dale,
Knowing effect of an open close,
Strengthen the myth,
To incite others to carry on,

Crown prince,
Mab Darogan,
The dragon lives on...

about

Albion England, UK

Albion is an archaic name for Great Britain used by classical scholars to refer to this cold and wet island. Some 2000 years later in 2019, four young whippersnappers dug up the ancient term to use as the name for their new band.
At the foundation of this project would be the preservation and exposure of traditional folk music, but presented through the modern medium of metal and rock.
